We are Farah and Adaira, the Co-Founders of Writing in Color (WIC), a community dedicated to uplifting and connecting writers of color across disciplines.
Too often, writers of color are asked to dilute their stories or reshape their truths to fit dominant narratives. Writing in Color was founded to change that. We created a space where writers can bring their full selves to the page — where storytelling is an act of reclamation, not assimilation.
